This is a single piece, with no barrel cap. All key mod design allows for attachments to be placed not only at the 3/6/9 o-clock positions, but also the 45 degree 2/4/6/8 o’clock positions. Great for attaching hand stops, handguards, picatinny rails or light switch panels! The aluminum construction, non-anodized design features a flat matte, baked surface for added durability and camouflage. Clamp style handguard is friction fitted on to a steel barrel nut and is held in place by 3 hex screws. Features a separate triple nut and doesn’t screw into the handguard itself! No more stripping the handguard! Fits on any 223 556 setup with a mil-spec barrel mount, including airsoft, BB and pellet systems.
