California Office of Administrative Law Approves Controversial Firearm Registration Rule

The California Office of Administrative Law has expanded rules on assault weapons and bullet buttons and requires all owners to register their firearms by July 18 through the California Firearms Application Reporting System. Each registration has a $15 fee and requires uploaded digital photos  of the magazine release, both sides of the receiver and barrel. Crafters who produce their own will have to apply for a serial number before completion.
