This is a single piece, and a barrel cap can not be installed. Aggressive CNC machined design allows for attachments to be placed at the 3/6/9 o-clock positions. Great for attaching hand stops or light switch panels! The aluminum construction, anodized design features a flat matte surface for added durability and camouflage. Clamp style handguard is friction fitted on to a steel barrel nut and is held in place by 3 hex screws. Fits on any 223 556 9mm setup with a mil-spec barrel mount, including airsoft, BB and pellet systems. Made in the USA.
